Move Closer Please: The Shifting Relationship Between Crisis Management and Business Continuity

Event Details

It is generally regarded that business continuity and crisis management are two sides of the same coin. The first prepares for the worst while the second steps up when it happens. But, as with a coin, this doesn’t mean that both sides have sight of each other. Indeed, there are many cases where the two disciplines have worked in almost total isolation. Worst case, the backroom business continuity people get out of the way while the high profile gold team works out what to do from first principles.

This has to change and indeed is changing. There is no point in building an organization that is both resilient and prepared if the people who take charge during a serious incident don’t have clear and up-to-date priorities for what should come first. And if the people who have the dependency data, and so know what matters most when hard choices have to be made, aren’t sitting at the same table.

So, whether your organization has already got this sorted or has a long way to go, join us to hear the art of the possible. Learn from case studies of those who got it right and those who got it wrong. Join us as our expert panel unpack and explore the coming together of resilience and crisis management.
